The SIX things team of mad hatters carefully packs and ships your order to you. 

COVID 19 - please note Australia Post / Fastway / Sendle has advised there are some delays due to the current situation. There is a mandatory 'Authority To Leave' on all parcels.

A confirmation email will be sent to once your order has been packed and is ready to send. This will include the tracking number so you can follow the journey from us to you.

FREE shipping over $150

To qualify for free standard shipping your items must fit into an A3 size satchel that weighs up to 3kg including bubble wrap etc to protect your goods. Free shipping is regular post NOT express. Please note large breakable items and furniture are not included in this offer.

Free shipping is available only in Australia.

FREE pick up at Coolangatta / Tweed Heads

We offer pick up on orders over $25 as a courtesy for locals. Use code "pickup". You’ll be informed of place in Coolangatta QLD / Tweed heads NSW once your order is ready for dispatch. Please allow 1-3 days for packing. Pick up is between 10am - 4pm Monday to Friday - please confirm a time that suits you. Please note, if you do not turn up on time to collect your order you will forfeit the FREE pick up option and must pay for shipping. 

General shipping information

Your order will leave our warehouse in 1-3 biz days (within 24hrs for express). Shipping times are based on the day of dispatch, not the purchase date. 

Australia post / Sendle estimates are:

  • Express to Melbourne, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane 1-3 biz days.
  • Express to Perth, Darwin, Hobart 2-4 biz days.
  • Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane 4-7 biz days. 
  • Perth, Darwin, Hobart 7-14 biz days.
  • International shipping can take 3-4 weeks.

We can deliver to PO BOX or Street Address for small items. Large items to Street Address only (rural areas may cost extra for larger items).

It is up to you to ensure all your details are submitted correctly when placing your order. We process our orders via an automated system, any errors when submitting your details may result in your order being sent incorrectly. Please check your order confirmation, and email and contact us ASAP to adjust errors before our shipping process begins.

Missing deliveries, we will take all steps possible to assist, however we do not refund or credit for orders if they have been addressed as indicated on your order. The best option is to contact Australia Post with the tracking number we provided you. If you chose a no-tracking shipping option unfortunately you wavier the right to any missing claim. 

Preorder / custom made items ordered with in stock items will ship as one when all items are ready. If you require your other items earlier, please place two separate orders.

Framed bugs and butterflies may take a few days to prepare before shipping. Please allow for a few extra days. Contact us if you need urgently and we can help.

Nail polish, flammable items and some consumable items cannot be shipped internationally. Please note that if your order contains dangerous goods (eg nail polish) your order will default to Australia Post road eParcel.

Freight charges are calculated depending on the style, size and weight of items ordered and the delivery destination. We hope you'll select an appropriate option on check out. If you select the incorrect option for shipping we will contact you with extra costs prior to shipping.

Breakables require bubble wrap / padding / protection to ensure they are safe in transit and therefore shipping costs extra. We will try to contact you if you select the wrong shipping type for your order with details on how to pay the extra shipping amount. Your order will remain in the warehouse. If we get no response from you, we will ship items as is, as such your choice makes you liable for any damages caused in shipping, damaged items will not be refunded or replaced. Please see our FAQ page for details on breakages etc.

Envelope shipping is for greeting cards / balloons and items under 100g only. It's just a A5 paper envelope with stamps. NO tracking. No insurance. NO bubble wrap etc. Not eligible for compensation under the Australia Post terms and conditions.

     

    Shipping terms

    We use Australia Post / Fastway / Sendle to ship items to you as we have found them to be the most reliable and cost effective for our customers. Once parcels have left our warehouse, they are then the property of Australia Post / Fastway / Sendle. Six things is not legally responsible for lost or damaged goods. Please ensure shipping details and packaging are kept in case further investigation is required.

    Please ensure that you enter the correct delivery address as parcels which are returned to SIX things as undeliverable will incur a re-dispatch fee.

    Shipping charges are not refundable.

    Freight companies will obtain signature if premises is attended, otherwise you give the freight company authority to leave goods unattended at shipping address. For other arrangements please contact us or Australia Post / Fastway / Sendle directly. 

    Sometimes the courier can’t deliver a parcel because no one was home. If the courier doesn't hear from you within five days, the parcel will be returned to us and you will have to pay for redelivery. 

    While we do everything we can to ensure your order is delivered in a timely manner, we will not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by any person as a result of delay caused by our carrier that we have no control over or by any event which is out of our reasonable control or foresight including but not limited to any delay caused by an incorrect delivery address being provided to us.

    International shipping

    Please be aware that International orders may incur customs or import duty fees when your order arrives. Please contact your local customs office for further information. Please select an appropriate shipping option on check out. If you select the incorrect option for shipping we will contact you with extra costs prior to shipping. International shipping DOES NOT include insurance and some places do not allow tracking outside Australia. We are sorry if your items are damaged or lost by the courier but we CANNOT refund or replace international orders. GST becomes a service fee for international orders.
